Tethered - s/t LP
This exciting band from London finally released their full length at the end of 2025 via California’s Extinction Burst label. Formed in 2023, Tethered’s six song demo tape was released by SNCL Records the following year. These 10 new songs on their debut vinyl LP draw a heavy influence from 90’s DIY hardcore, particularly Ebullition Records – with Rose Whittaker’s passionate vocals recalling the power and strength of Spitboy’s Adrienne; while the rest of the band hammer-out up a hyper-dynamic reenactment of Torches To Rome. (Torches To Rome?! Waay-hey!) Add some Assfactor 4 and Revolution Summer – and basically, Tethered are so firmly lodged in my musical alley, it’s ridiculous.
