FRKSE / Altered Form - Corporeal Identity Transmission CS
Corporeal Identity Transmission is an instrumental narrative that sees the artists weave a sense of wonder and curiosity with celluloid horror and Lovecraftian paranoia.
FRKSE, from Massachusetts by way of Reno, delivers four tracks of brutalist electronics that brush their fingers across musique concrete as they menacingly pace towards you. On the flip side, Richmond’s Altered Form present five tracks of sci-fi and horror inspired dread that vary from the lush and wondrous to claustrophobic and anxious.
”Corporeal Identity Transmission” has two artists using synthesizers in two immediately different styles to form separate but linear visions. While recording, both artists heard the others’ side and felt inspired to go back and push their tracks further with additional edits and track replacements - making this release more collaborative in nature than most splits.
We are proud to release this album, featuring art by Dylan Thomas, mastered by Andrew Horton (Holy Love Incoprorated, Young Hierophant, Good Glass Records), and professionally dubbed to FerroMaster C256™ high performance cassettes for an optimal anaolog media experience.
